Spanish press reports revealed that the Spanish club Barcelona has decided to offer the Catalan team star for sale at any price during the upcoming summer transfer period.
Barcelona had announced the departure of three players from its ranks at the end of the past season, and thus the end of their contracts with the Catalan team. These three are Marcos Alonso, Joao Felix, and Joao Cancelo.
Laporta did not stop there, as Spanish “Sport” journalist Luis Miguel Sanz said that the Catalan club officials decided to abandon Ansu Fati during the summer Mercato.
He added: “With all sadness, Barcelona is abandoning Ansu and cannot save him. They are willing to accept a low offer to end their relationship with the club.”
He continued, that the Barcelona administration is waiting for offers other than Spanish clubs because they will pay more abroad, and the Spanish journalist confirmed that Fati wants to stay and the club wants to sell him.
Spanish reports indicated that German Hansi Flick, Barcelona’s new coach, is not convinced of Ansu Fati’s capabilities, and does not want him to remain within the ranks of the Catalan team next season.
