Spanish press reports shed light on Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti’s refusal to keep one of the Real Madrid stars in the team’s ranks next season.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, Ancelotti refused to continue the team’s defender Jesus Vallejo after his return from loan with Granada and informed the team management to expel the player immediately.
The Spanish newspaper said that Vallejo will leave Real Madrid after being linked to the Royal Club for a period approaching a decade after he joined the Royal ranks from Zaragoza in 2015.
The Spanish newspaper confirmed that Ancelotti will not depend on Vallejo next season, and Real Madrid is open to his departure with a low offer, specifically that his contract expires in 2025.
The Spanish newspaper indicated that Vallejo will not play with Ancelotti, who refuses to continue as the team’s fourth defender, even if Real Madrid fails to sign Lenny Euro, the French star of Lille’s defense.
The Spanish newspaper explained that Ancelotti would prefer, if the Euro deal fails, to rely on Marvel from the academy or use Aurelien Chouamini in this position.
