Real Madrid is exploring the Mercato in order to strengthen its ranks with the best players in the world in order to continue dominating European and world titles under the leadership of historic president Florentino Pérez.
One of the most important deals that Real Madrid is seeking to sign is the left-back position, as Perez wants to support this position with a world-class player to support Ferland Mendy, especially with the French player’s many injuries.
In light of this, Bayern Munich provided the service of a lifetime to Real Madrid, as the latter sought to include Canadian international, Alphonso Davies, the left back of the Bavarian team, whose contract with his club expires next summer, according to a Spanish press report.
According to the newspaper “AS”, Bayern Munich withdrew its last offer to renew Davies’ contract, which included a salary ranging between 14 and 16 million euros, as the German giant became open to the departure of its player this summer.
The newspaper pointed out that Bayern recently signed Michael Oliseh for 53 million euros, and also acquired Joao Balenha for 51 million euros, which means that he needs to raise money by selling some players, most notably Davies.
AS reported that Real Madrid is waiting for Davies to end his career with the Canadian national team, in the Copa America, in order to continue negotiations to include him.
