In light of this, Spanish Real Madrid has placed French international defender William Saliba, the English player for Arsenal, as a primary target to sign him during the current summer transfer period.
The English newspaper Mirror revealed that Spanish Real Madrid is interested in including Saliba this summer, following the player’s brilliance with the French national team in the Euro 2024 Championship currently being held in Germany.
The newspaper added that Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti greatly praised the performance of the French defender, whom he considered one of the best defenders in Europe, and signing him would be a historic deal for Real Madrid, despite the difficulty of Arsenal giving up the French player.
Saliba participated with the French national team in 19 international matches, while he participated with Arsenal in 50 matches this season in all tournaments, during which he scored two goals and received 6 yellow cards.
