Barça and Joan Laporta, president of the Spanish club Barcelona, want to sign a season deal from the Premier League in order to support the team to return to competing in the Champions League again after contracting with Hansi Flick to coach the team.
Spanish press reports said that Barcelona is strongly targeting the signing of Lionel Messi’s friend in Argentina, Manchester City’s English player, Julian Alvarez, during the current summer Mercato.
According to information received from the Sport newspaper, Laporta prefers to contract with the Argentine striker, and this matter opposes the desire of the German coach, who wants to sign Julian’s colleague in Manchester City, the Portuguese Bernardo Silva.
