Officials of the English Liverpool club agreed to transfer the team’s star to the ranks of Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia during the current summer transfer period of 2024, after the desire of the Portuguese Luis Castro to include him.
The English newspaper “Mirror” revealed that the Liverpool club management agreed to the departure of Dutchman Virgil van Dijk to the ranks of the Saudi club Al-Nasr during the current summer transfer period of 2024.
The newspaper added that the Liverpool club management was demanding 55 million euros in order to approve Van Dijk’s departure to the ranks of Al-Nasr Club, but the number was high compared to the Saudi offer submitted.
The newspaper continued that Al-Nasr has been suffering recently due to the polarization committee’s decision to abandon support for the first team’s football deals, and that it will only be from the club’s budget, making the Dutchman’s transfer deal almost impossible.
The summer transfer period within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia officially begins on July 19, and continues until September 2.
It is worth noting that Al Hilal Club won the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup title at the expense of Saudi Al Nassr after a draw with one goal for each team in regular time and winning on penalties five goals to four.
