Santiago Solari, the former Real Madrid coach who currently works in the Royal Club’s sports department, advised Florentino Perez’s management to sign one of Argentina’s jewels at the present time.
Real Madrid seeks to conclude many contracts with the best players and international talents in order to secure the future of the royal team for years to come.
Argentine Solari wants Real Madrid to move to sign his compatriot Franco Mastantuno in the coming period, according to what the Spanish daily AS reported on Sunday.
The Madrid newspaper confirmed that there are currently no negotiations to include the player, who is linked to the Argentine club River Plate with a contract whose release clause amounts to 41.5 million euros.
Mastantuno is considered one of the most promising players in Argentine football. He is 16 years old, and the young midfielder’s contract with his club management expires in December 2026.
The price of the player, who played a single international match with the Argentine U-20 national team, is about 10 million euros in the player market, according to an estimate by the Transfer Market network.
It is noteworthy that the player was recently included in the French club Paris Saint-Germain’s search for a contract with him as well.
