Barcelona is seeking to strengthen its ranks with the best players in order to compete strongly for all titles in the new season after a disappointing season in which the Catalan team left empty-handed without any title.
Barcelona President Joan Laporta came out to confirm the club’s ability to conclude many strong and distinguished deals this summer and meet the needs of German coach Hansi Flick.

In light of this, press reports stated that the Spanish club Barcelona reached a final agreement regarding the inclusion of Dani Olmo, the midfielder of the German team Leipzig.
Fabrizio Romano, a journalist specializing in transfer news, said through his account on the social networking site “X” that Barcelona had reached an agreement to include Olmo, after the Portuguese Deco, Barcelona’s sporting director, traveled to Germany to meet with German club officials.

Romano continued that the deal would cost 55 million euros, in addition to 7 million euros in add-ons.
The famous journalist continued that Barca agreed with the Spanish winger to sign for a period of 6 years, until June 2030.
The 26-year-old player’s contract with the German club extends until the summer of 2027, and he has been linked to a move to both Bayern Munich in Germany and Manchester City in England.

The Spanish midfielder participated in 25 matches with the German team, in all competitions, during last season, where he scored 8 goals and assisted 5 others.
The Spanish player confirmed in previous statements that he wants to win titles and play for a team that has an ambitious project.

It is worth noting that Olmo had moved to Leipzig in January 2020, coming from Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia, for 29 million euros.
