Former Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho wants to improve the level of his Turkish team, Fenerbahce, which has already started the league and is currently eliminated from the Champions League, after losing the first leg to Lille (2-1), awaiting the return match in Turkey.
The summer transfer market continues, and in August, many teams are already preparing final signings to immediately integrate into the squad.
Local tournaments will start in the next few days and coaches want their players to have enough experience and develop the necessary mechanics.
In this sense, Fenerbahce, led by Jose Mourinho, wants to strengthen its squad for next season in order to compete with Besiktas and Galatasaray in the Turkish League.
According to the “Fichajes” website, the Portuguese coach has set his sights on two players from Real Madrid’s current first team to improve his team’s level: Arda Guler and David Alaba.
In the case of the attacking midfielder, who played for Fenerbahce two seasons ago, Mourinho’s interest is not new once he reached the technical leadership of the Turkish team. He already tried to take the young player on loan, and now he will return to the task of negotiating with Perez to sign the jewel player.
As for Alaba, the Austrian is still recovering from the serious knee injury he suffered, but the Portuguese coach wants to sign him. He has a contract with Real Madrid until 2026, considering him a piece that would greatly improve Fenerbahce’s defense. But after Juan Martinez’s injury, it does not seem Real Madrid will agree to the departure of the former Bayern Munich player.
