The newspaper indicated that the request submitted by Nico Williams is not strange due to his club’s management’s insistence on his staying next season, but some reports indicate that it did not happen and is not real.
Some interpreted this as Laporta’s last response after being asked about the player, where he replied saying: “We don’t need him”, meaning that the player rejected the Blaugrana offer and did not postpone it.
