Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, commented on his team’s draw with Real Mallorca in the Spanish League.
The final whistle was blown a short while ago for the Merengue match against Real Mallorca, which brought them together at the Iberostar Stadium in the first round of the Spanish League competition for the 2024/2025 season.
The match ended in a positive draw between the two teams with a goal for each team, Rodrigo scored Real Madrid’s goal while Real Madrid’s equalizer came through Muriqui.
Carlo Ancelotti said in the press conference held after the end of the match, “We lacked balance, it was not a good match, we have to defend better.”
He continued: – “Last year I was happy with some draws, not today, the match had to be presented much better, I do not want excuses, we had to deal better in some situations.”
He added: “I want Perez to intervene and protect Vinicius from the chants he is subjected to, which negatively affects Real Madrid in matches, and the referees are not firm enough in this matter.”
He continued: “Vinicius Junior took the team out of the match because of what happened to him and he is responsible for our loss of two shots today, and I had to replace him, and I was wrong not to do so.”
He concluded: “In the upcoming matches, we need a variety of technical solutions, and I can’t find anyone better than Brahim Diaz, who will be able to break up the opponents’ formations.”
