Barcelona is on the verge of making a major sale deal for one of its players during the current summer Mercato in order to revive its treasury and adjust its financial situation.
Barcelona is seeking to sell a number of the team’s stars that Hans Flick does not want in order to lean towards other deals that would strengthen Barcelona’s ranks to compete strongly in all tournaments.
According to the Spanish network “Relevo”, Brazilian striker Vitor Roque is close to leaving Barcelona this summer, towards Sporting Lisbon.
It indicated that the coming hours will be decisive, especially after the player gave the green light to move to Lisbon, in addition to Deco, the sporting director of Barcelona, traveling to Portugal to complete the negotiations.
It explained that the negotiations were not easy due to Vitor Roque’s high salary, but Lisbon did not give up, and sought an agreement that would satisfy all parties concerned.
It stated that the value of the deal will exceed 30 million euros including variables, as Barcelona will receive 20 million as a fixed fee in addition to many bonuses.
Relevo revealed that Everton and Bournemouth have inquired about a deal for Rocky in recent weeks, but the player prefers to sign with Sporting Lisbon. Barcelona are waiting to sell one of the outcast players in order to complete the registration of their stars, in addition to signing a new midfielder.
