La Liga condemned what Barcelona is facing after the events that took place in the first and second round matches of the new season in the Spanish League, at the Mestalla Stadium, and at the Montjuic Stadium, which is owned by Barcelona.
Barcelona started its season in La Liga by defeating Valencia at home, with two goals to one, before repeating the same result in its victory over Athletic Bilbao in Catalonia, in the second round.
Valencia fans chanted hos.tile slogans against Barcelona and the Catalonia region, and several players from Barcelona, such as winger Torres, Lewandowski and left-back Alejandro Balde.
The hos.tile chants against Barcelona did not stop at the matches played by the Catalan club, as Bilbao fans chanted several slogans against Barcelona at the Montjuic Stadium in the heart of Catalonia during the second round match against Athletic Bilbao.
The Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” revealed, on Monday evening, that the association condemned what the Valencia and Bilbao fans did against the Catalan team, and submitted a memorandum about what happened to the Anti-Violence Committee and the Competitions Committee of the Football Association in the country, and warned against repeating this matter in future matches.
