There are less than two days left until the summer transfer window closes and although Real Madrid have no plans to sign any new players, their closest rivals are hoping to sign a player during that period.

According to information from the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central: The player that Barcelona are looking for is Jonathan Tah. The 28-year-old German centre-back has lost his place in the starting line-up of coach Xabi Alonso, but he remains one of the best players the club has.
The newspaper added: If Xabi Alonso opposes his departure, Barcelona will suffer a severe blow by losing the opportunity to strengthen the backbone of their defence because Coparci is not achieving the expected results.
This new interest from the club headed by Joan Laporta has not gone unnoticed because Tah represents a great reinforcement for the backbone of Barcelona’s defence.
The newspaper concluded: As is usually the case when Barcelona tries to sign a new player, the main obstacle to the feasibility of this process is the difficult situation of Barcelona’s exhausted treasury.
