Real Madrid officially announced the injury of two surprising players from the club’s first football team after yesterday’s match against Real Betis.
Los Blancos managed to achieve a valuable victory over their counterpart Real Betis yesterday evening with a score of two goals without a response, through Kylian Mbappe.
With this result, Real’s balance rose to 8 points in second place, 4 points behind Barcelona, while Real Betis’ balance froze at two points in seventeenth place.
Dani Ceballos participated from the beginning of the match against Betis, and left in the 65th minute due to the injury he sustained during the events of the match.
Real Madrid said in an official statement: “After the examinations conducted today by the medical services of the Merengue Club on our player Dani Ceballos, he was diagnosed with a third-degree sprain with damage to the ligaments of his right ankle, and his condition will be monitored.”
The statement added, “The duration of his absence depends on the pace of his recovery from the injury.”
According to what was revealed by the Spanish newspaper “AS”, this injury will keep Ceballos off the field for a period ranging from 6 to 8 weeks.
It indicated that the injury came at the most important time for Dani, as he was preparing to get more minutes in the upcoming matches, due to the injuries that hit the team’s midfield in the absence of Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham.
The injuries did not end here, as according to what was reported by the French Radio Monte Carlo, on Monday evening, it was reported that the French Ferland Mendy, Real Madrid’s right-back, was suffering from an injury to his right leg, which will prevent him from being with the French national team during the current international break.
