According to information from the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, one of the names that was on the way out was Eric Garcia and the Catalan centre-back, after his successful loan at Girona last season, was looking forward to the possibility of a return.
The newspaper added that Ansu Fati was also in a similar situation as the young winger was the subject of numerous offers throughout the summer, with several European clubs interested in signing him.
Ansu knows that his path will not be easy under Flick because the competition is fierce, and after the arrival of Dani Olmo and the explosion of Lamine Yamal, his chances of getting a place in the starting lineup have decreased significantly.
