Major European football clubs have begun preparing for the upcoming winter transfers, after the summer transfer window closed. Among these clubs, Liverpool and Arsenal are seeking to strengthen their midfield during the next transfer window in January 2025.
Reports from the British network “Cote Offside” indicate that both clubs are competing to sign French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni from Real Madrid.
Liverpool, led by coach Arne Slot, aims to attract Tchouameni to strengthen its ranks, while Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta is monitoring the same player, who is considered one of the main pillars in Carlo Ancelotti’s formation at Real Madrid.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal hope to convince Tchouameni to move from the Santiago Bernabeu to join one of them in the second half of the current season.
