In light of this, a Spanish press report revealed a big surprise regarding Barcelona star, Brazilian Rafinha Diaz, who is having a historic season with Barcelona.
According to information received from the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, the Saudi Al-Hilal Club entered into serious negotiations with the player during the last transfer period.
Last August, Al-Hilal Club submitted a huge offer of 100 million euros to buy Rafinha Diaz from Barcelona. In addition, the Saudi club offered the player a four-year contract with an annual salary of 25 million euros, which is four times his current salary with the Catalan club.
However, according to the report, Rafinha Diaz responded to the Saudi offer by rejecting it, saying: “No, thank you, I want to make history with Barcelona.”
It is worth noting that Al Hilal was also active in the transfer market, as it included Brazilian Marcos Leonardo from Benfica and Portuguese Joao Cancelo from Manchester City.
