Spanish press reports indicated that Real Madrid has set a date to sign Canadian international Alphonso Davies, the left-back for Bayern Munich.
The 23-year-old player’s contract with the Bavarian giants is scheduled to expire in the summer of 2025, and he has been linked with a move to the royal club this summer.
The Spanish newspaper “AS” reported that Real Madrid will sign Alphonso Davies in the next monthly transfer period, with the Canadian player joining Real Madrid next summer.
The newspaper added that Perez is strongly committed to signing the Canadian player and sees him as the best left-back in the world and will restore glory to Real Madrid’s left flank since the departure of the legend Marcelo.
The newspaper indicated that despite Bayern Munich’s refusal to sell the player last summer, Real Madrid did not give up because of its knowledge of the player’s great desire to join the Bernabeu.
The Canadian star had participated in 42 matches with the Bavarian team, in all competitions, during the 2023-24 season, where he scored 3 goals and made 6 others.
It is worth noting that the left-back had joined the ranks of the Bavarian giants in January 2019, coming from the Canadian club Vancouver, for 14 million euros.
