Spanish press reports revealed a major surprise regarding French star Kylian Mbappe’s close friend within Real Madrid after he moved to the club during the summer transfer window.
It is worth noting that the French player joined Real Madrid last summer from the French capital team, Paris Saint-Germain, in a free transfer deal that did not cost Real Madrid a single euro.
According to information from the Spanish newspaper “AS,” it has been revealed that Moroccan Ibrahim Diaz has become Mbappe’s closest friend in Real Madrid, amid rumors of tense relations between the French striker and the Brazilian players.
The newspaper added that Mbappe told those close to him that Ibrahim Diaz is the closest to him since joining Real Madrid; however, he did not overlook Vinicius and Bellingham, but he preferred the Moroccan player over this duo.
The newspaper continued by stating that the Moroccan player is helping the French national team captain to quickly adapt to the Spanish atmosphere and Real Madrid.
Additionally, it mentioned that Mbappe had previously been linked to another Moroccan friend, Achraf Hakimi, as the two had a strong friendship for years while at Paris Saint-Germain.
