According to information from El Nacional, Flick has welcomed three new players to the team: Gavi, who will return after 11 months, Fermin Lopez, and Dani Olmo.
Flick explained: “Gavi will definitely be on the bench, and I am looking forward to seeing him in training; he has a very good attitude. The same goes for Fermin; he will be able to play. As for Dani, we will put him on the bench, but we will focus more on Wednesday.”
However, not all the news is positive for Flick, who had intended to start Frenkie de Jong, but he will not be able to due to some physical discomfort, although it is not a serious injury.
He stated: “We will evaluate Frenkie before the Bayern Munich match to see how he is. He has been training very well in the last few days; I was counting on him to start, but now we will wait until tomorrow. Yesterday, he finished training with the group after feeling discomfort, and today he worked separately.”
