Pau Victor received offers from clubs such as Getafe, Leganes, Rayo Vallecano, Valladolid, and Valencia. However, he opted to remain at Camp Nou and retain his number after scoring against clubs like Manchester City and Real Madrid in friendly matches.
His role as the primary backup for Robert Lewandowski has been challenging, and he has not met expectations, as reflected in his statistics. This has compelled Flick to consider allowing the player to leave.
So far, Pau Victor has scored one goal and provided one assist this season, but Flick is not fully satisfied with his contributions. Therefore, he has granted the player permission to seek a new team, either in the upcoming winter transfer window or by June at the latest.
Flick has also warned Pau Victor: if he remains until the end of the year, his role will be almost non-existent, and he will not achieve the playing time he desires.
