Garcia will miss the match against Bayern Munich due to an injury to his right thigh muscles, which he sustained during the warm-up before the match between Barcelona and Sevilla on Sunday, which ended with the Blaugrana winning 5-1 in the local league.
The Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” emphasized that the medical staff at Barcelona is currently working to prepare Garcia for normal participation with the team in the El Clasico match against Real Madrid next week.
It pointed out that Garcia received a red card in Barça’s first match in the Champions League under the new system against Monaco and was subsequently absent from the next match against Young Boys, before the injury prevented him from playing in the third match.
Garcia joins Barcelona’s injured list, which includes Denmark’s Andreas Christensen, Ronald Araujo, Ferran Torres, Marc Bernal, and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
