Madrid Shock: Carvajal Still Without a Club After Being Offered to Serie A Sides With No Reply

Just a few months ago he was one of Real Madrid’s pillars and one of the most decorated players in the club’s history. Today the picture has changed completely: the Spanish legend finds himself without a club, waiting for an offer that will bring him back to the pitch.

The shock does not end there. The veteran star has been offered to several European clubs without receiving any answer so far, while he has turned down offers from the Gulf because he wants to keep playing at a high level, in a scenario that recalls what happened to a former Real Madrid teammate.

The player in question is Dani Carvajal. The 34-year-old right-back left Real Madrid last summer after his contract with the club expired, and despite plenty of rumours about his future since then, he is still without a team, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed on his YouTube channel that Carvajal has been offered to several Serie A clubs, but so far there has been no response from them.

One of those clubs could be AC Milan, who might value Carvajal’s vast experience and, above all, the fact that he would arrive on a free transfer.

Carvajal has received offers from Qatar but has yet to find a new destination. His intention is to keep playing rather than retire.

The Spanish full-back could follow the same path as David Alaba. After leaving Real Madrid and seeing the transfer window close, the Austrian centre-back ended up joining Italian side Udinese.

The future of Real Madrid’s former captain remains on hold while he waits for the right offer, with Madridistas hoping to see one of the club’s great symbols of recent years continue his career at a level worthy of his history.
