Lewandowski Supports Lamine Yamal and Blasts the Current Ballon d’Or Award System

Deep secrets and philosophical analyses of the football world are unfolding behind the scenes, as the veteran voice of Robert Lewandowski casts a revealing light on the transformations of the current generation, sounding a subtle alarm bell regarding the future of rising talents and their ability to sustain survival at the top amid rapid changes that have astonished observers.

In details, Polish striker Robert Lewandowski expressed his full support for young teammate Lamine Yamal, hoping he wins the Ballon d’Or due to his exceptional talent relative to his young age, noting that the award race today is completely different with around ten contenders compared to past years when it was restricted to just two or three players. On a related note, Lewandowski warned of the difficulty for current-generation stars to remain at the top for long periods compared to their era, which required time and patience, emphasizing that the new generation’s rapid acquisition of everything makes them vulnerable to physical exhaustion and a gradual loss of passion, as staying at the pinnacle of high performance for many years demands a massive physical and mental battle against continuous challenges.
