According to the latest reports, president Florentino P\u00e9rez was present at the training ground in Valdebebas and had lunch with Ancelotti. The Italian coach confirmed that he still believes he can turn things around.
\nThe Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that during the lunch, P\u00e9rez expressed to Ancelotti and other senior officials the need to see a reaction from the team on the pitch. However, he tried to calm the situation and show support for the Italian coach at that moment.<\/p>\n
The newspaper also mentioned that Real Madrid has not yet contacted any other coach to replace Ancelotti. There is a belief that the situation is not as dire as it was under Julen Lopetegui or Rafael Ben\u00edtez when the club decided to part ways with them mid-season.
