Barcelona seeks to continue strengthening its squad by signing the best players in the world in order to return to the top of European and global football.
\nThe name of Canadian full-back Alphonso Davies, a Bayern Munich player, has been linked with a possible move to Real Madrid, but it seems that he is leaning towards Barcelona.<\/p>\n
Spanish reports had previously indicated that Real Madrid was waiting for Davies’ contract with Bayern Munich to expire in the summer in order to sign him on a free transfer, which delayed the completion of the deal that was supposed to be finalized in last summer’s transfer window.
\nAccording to a report published by the “Team Talk” website, Barcelona is now in a position to sign Davies on a free transfer next summer.<\/p>\n
The report also noted that Alphonso Davies is open to the idea of reuniting with current Barcelona coach Hans Flick, and he would be very happy in this scenario.
\nThe report further stated that Flick has asked Barcelona’s management to submit an offer for Davies, who will be a free agent next summer.<\/p>\n
Barcelona’s task in this pursuit will not be easy, especially since the player is also attracting interest from Manchester United in addition to Real Madrid.
