\u2018\u2018Marca\u2018\u2018 reported that Barcelona has reached an agreement with German coach Hansi Flick to extend his contract.<\/p>\n
Hansi Flick\u2019s current deal with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2026, but the team\u2019s recent form has prompted the club\u2019s management to seek an early extension.<\/p>\n
The newspaper indicated that Barcelona has already agreed with the coach to extend his contract by two additional seasons, until the summer of 2028. However, the renewal will not be made official until the end of the current season.<\/p>\n
The report added that there are reasons why the club has chosen not to formalize the extension at this time. The first is the desire to remain focused on the remainder of the season, as Bar\u00e7a continues to compete for a treble in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League. The second reason is Financial Fair Play regulations, which currently prevent the club from signing new players or renewing existing contracts.<\/p>\n
