In light of this, Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, is targeting Barcelona star Dani Olmo during the summer transfer window.
\nOlmo has performed very well in La Liga this season and has played a crucial role in Barcelona\u2019s pursuit of the title.<\/p>\n
According to a report published by Football Espana, Guardiola hopes the club will succeed in signing Dani Olmo this summer to fill the creative playmaker role behind Haaland, following the departure of Kevin De Bruyne.
\nManchester City had also shown interest in German midfielder Florian Wirtz to take on this role, but the young talent now appears likely to join Bayern Munich in the summer.<\/p>\n
Olmo’s market value is estimated at \u20ac60 million, and it remains to be seen what his next move will be should he leave Barcelona.
\nThe 27-year-old attacking midfielder is under contract with the Catalan club until June 2030.<\/p>\n
