Bayern Munich threatens Liverpool’s efforts to sign the German coach’s successor, Jurgen Klopp, according to an English press report.
\nKlopp announced his departure from Liverpool after the end of the current season, after 8 years in charge of the Reds.<\/p>\n
According to the British newspaper The Athletic, Reds officials have decided to appoint Spaniard Xabi Alonso, coach of Bayer Leverkusen, as coach of the team.
\nThe newspaper added that Bayern Munich also expressed interest in appointing Alonso as coach of the Bavarian team, starting next season.<\/p>\n
Bayern is going through a difficult period under the leadership of its coach, Thomas Tuchel, whose results declined under his leadership.
\nThe newspaper said that Alonso will not speak with any club before the end of the current season, and there is no guarantee that he will leave the Bay Arena.<\/p>\n
