Officials of the Spanish club Barcelona, \u200b\u200bheaded by Joan Laporta, are seeking to sign a contract with the Spanish national team star during the current summer transfer period of 2024, to strengthen the ranks of the Catalan team.

In light of this, the Spanish newspaper \u201cSport\u201d revealed that the Barcelona management wants to sign the player Neco Williams, the star of Athletic Bilbao, during the current summer transfer period of 2024.

The newspaper added that Barcelona wants to negotiate a reduction in the value of the release clause in the player\u2019s contract, or pay it in installments, as the value of the release clause amounts to 58 million euros.
