Former Real Madrid coach Fabio Capello sent a fiery warning to French player Kylian Mbapp\u00e9 following his lackluster performances since joining the club this summer.<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old player joined the royal club in the summer of 2024, arriving from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
\nCapello, in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper \u201cMundo Deportivo,\u201d said about Mbapp\u00e9: \u201cWhen a big star goes to Real Madrid, he must understand that he needs to work like any other player. At Real Madrid, there is not just one star, but many.\u201d<\/p>\n
Capello added that Mbapp\u00e9 should have considered carefully before moving to Real Madrid, especially with the presence of the best player in the world, Vin\u00edcius J\u00fanior, which will not allow Mbapp\u00e9 to feel as comfortable as he did in Paris.
\nThe Italian coach indicated that Mbapp\u00e9 will remain in Vin\u00edcius’s shadow throughout his time with Real Madrid and will struggle to outperform him because the Brazilian possesses skills and talents that are quite different from those of Kylian Mbapp\u00e9.<\/p>\n
The Spanish newspaper “Marca” revealed that Mbapp\u00e9 is upset with Capello’s remarks and believes he can adapt to Real Madrid and become the best player in the world in the near future.
\nFor his part, Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti contacted his compatriot Capello, advising him to tone down his criticism of the French star, especially since Mbapp\u00e9 has put up good numbers with Real Madrid this season despite not fully adapting to the team.<\/p>\n
