Barcelona taught their rivals Real Madrid a harsh lesson, defeating them at home in front of their fans with a score of 4-0 in the Spanish League Clasico during the 11th round of the competition last Saturday evening.

According to information from the Spanish newspaper “El Nacional,” German coach Hansi Flick decided to deliver a major shock to Barcelona’s new signing after the Clasico match.
The newspaper added that Flick is very pleased with the performance of goalkeeper Pena against Real Madrid, as he stopped all of Real Madrid’s attempts and made some excellent saves.
The report indicated that Flick informed Polish goalkeeper Szczesny of a surprising decision, telling him that he would not be able to keep Pena on the bench after the impressive performance he displayed against Real Madrid and previously in the Bayern Munich match.
Flick spoke to Szczesny, saying, “You will not start in light of Pena’s wonderful performance. I’m sorry!”
For his part, the newspaper confirmed that Szczesny is disappointed because he wanted to participate as a starter with Barcelona, having returned from retirement for this opportunity. However, it seems that Pena will deprive him of that chance.
