The winter transfer market is over, but Barcelona’s sporting planning is still ongoing. One of the key areas for next season is the right-back position, with Jules Kounde being used as an emergency solution.
Barcelona were unable to make any signings in the winter transfer market, as they were hoping to secure English striker Marcus Rashford.
However, this was contingent on the sale of one of Barcelona’s players, Ansu Fati, who refused to leave permanently, believing he could prove himself to German coach Hans Flick.
Reports have indicated the Catalan club’s interest in Colombian player Daniel Munoz (28 years old), the right-back for Crystal Palace, who has been performing remarkably in the English Premier League.
The reports further added that Munoz, who has scored two goals and provided three assists in 23 matches this season, has also caught the attention of Manchester City and Chelsea. However, the player prefers to postpone his decision until next summer, as he is under contract with Crystal Palace until 2027, and his market value is estimated at 25 million euros.
It is worth noting that Munoz is a Barcelona fan, and he has previously expressed his dream of playing for the Catalan club, inspired by his role models Ronaldinho and Dani Alves.
