Despite the apparent calm within Real Madrid, some issues are still being carefully managed behind the scenes, particularly those related to the future of several key players whose roles in the new project led by Xabi Alonso have yet to be decided.

Amid increasing talk of restructuring the attacking line, many questions have surfaced regarding the fate of one of the most prominent attacking players in recent seasons.

Sources close to the player confirmed that his agent contacted Real Madrid’s management in the past few hours to convey a clear message: the player is not considering leaving at the moment, despite potential offers, particularly from the English Premier League.

However, according to the Spanish newspaper Defensa Central, the club’s management is still keeping all options open, including considering large financial offers that could arrive at any time.

According to the report, the player in question is Brazilian winger Rodrygo Goes, who, through his representatives, has confirmed his desire to continue with the club. However, the management believes that any offer exceeding €80 to €100 million could reopen negotiations.

Real Madrid views Rodrygo as a player with exceptional technical abilities but is also disappointed by his relative decline in performance last season, as he failed to demonstrate the required consistency in his decisiveness or make a difference in major matches.

Ironically, the club is finding it difficult to receive large financial offers, despite the inflated prices of players in the European market, especially with deals like Alexander Isak’s, which approached €120 million. This has only increased the club’s confusion regarding the Brazilian star’s actual market value.

On the other hand, Rodrygo is fully aware that his chances of starting have become more difficult in light of the intense competition in the attacking lineup, with players such as Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappé, as well as the potential arrival of new attacking signings.

It appears that coach Xabi Alonso does not consider Rodrygo a key player yet, especially after his inconsistent performance during the Club World Cup. This may prompt the player to reconsider his position if his competitive conditions do not improve in the first half of the new season.
