Modric’s contract with Real Madrid is scheduled to expire at the end of the current season, and he has not reached an official agreement regarding renewing his contract with the royal team.

According to the Croatian “Sata 24” website, Luka Modric received an offer from Dinamo Zagreb, the team in which he grew up, to return to its ranks whenever he wants.
The report continued that Mario Barisic, the president of Zagreb, who recently eliminated Real Betis from the European Super League, phoned Modric himself and made him an offer to come.
The report confirmed that Modric responded by being open to possibilities, but the same source suggested that returning to the club where he clearly shines is very difficult.
