Spaniard Xavi Hernandez, coach of the Barcelona football team, plans to strengthen Barcelona’s ranks during the upcoming summer transfer period, in light of the numerical shortage that the team suffers from in some positions.
Xavi identified some of the reasons that caused Barca to exit with a zero season, including not signing the players that Xavi requested before the start of the current season.
The Spanish newspapers revealed a surprise about some of the deals that Xavi is committed to including next season, after he retracted his decision to leave the Blaugrana.
Xavi called for the inclusion of Zobimendi, Bernardo Silva and Xavi Simons for the next season, even though the value of these deals may be impossible for the Barca management to afford.
Barcelona will be forced to leave one of these names to ensure it reaps huge financial value, such as Araujo, Kounde, Rafinha and De Jong.
Barcelona is now forced to dispense with many of the team’s stars, in order to prepare a huge financial value to include the required deals, in light of the economic crisis hitting the team.
