Journalist Guillem Balagh, who is very close to Lionel Messi, revealed a huge surprise regarding the Argentine star’s desire to return to Barcelona during the coming period.
Balag said in statements reported by the “Barca Universal” website: “There is a story that I must tell so that everyone knows how much Lionel Messi loves his former Spanish club, Barcelona.”
He continued: “Previously, I prepared a book about Barcelona legends. In the book, we talked about each player individually, and we were a little late in issuing the book due to the late arrival of Lionel Messi’s words.”
He continued: “I have a good relationship with Messi, but he was going through a long period of pressure and preoccupation, and as soon as he learned that the book was related to Barcelona, he was quick to participate in preparing its content.”
He stressed: “Messi wanted to write the text that links him to Barcelona himself. He said that no matter how life takes him to different cities, Barcelona will remain his home, and that he will remain a part of Barcelona, and that he will definitely return to the team.”
