The newspaper added that Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti informed the club management that he preferred to bet on the young Mario Martin instead of relying on Ceballos in the midfield, especially since the player did not present his credentials with Real Madrid under the leadership of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The newspaper concluded that Atletico Madrid is strongly seeking to acquire the player, based on a decision by team coach Diego Simeone, who wants to sign the player to support Atletico’s midfield next season.
