Brazilian Carlo Ancelotti, coach of the Spanish team Real Madrid, has completed his final preparations for the upcoming Champions League final this season.
The European giants will face their German counterpart, Borussia Dortmund, tomorrow evening, Saturday, June 1, at Wembley Stadium in the English capital, London.
Ancelotti settled on the Royal formation with which he will play the expected Dortmund confrontation, as the controversy over the identity of the team’s goalkeeper in the match was resolved, after Lunin’s recent injury.
Belgian Thibaut Courtois will participate primarily after the Ukrainian goalkeeper’s absence from Real Madrid’s recent training due to a fever.
Ancelotti emphasized the importance of Real Madrid’s identity, saying: “Real Madrid’s motivation is always to win, but regardless of that, the team must have a clear identity, but this identity is not fixed or just one.”
Ancelotti also touched on the Golden Ball struggle between his players, saying: “There is a struggle between Vinicius and Bellingham for the Golden Ball. Let’s see what happens in the final, and in the European Cup and Copa America.”
