The Saudi press revealed that Al-Nasr Club is considering making the largest offer in the current summer transfer market to buy the Barcelona star’s contract.
Last season, Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia lost all the local championships it was competing for, to the Saudi Al-Hilal team, after a strong competition between them.
The Al-Nasr team’s board of directors is working to strengthen the team’s ranks with high-quality players, to return to the podium and help Cristiano Ronaldo achieve titles.
According to information received from the Catalan newspaper Sport, which explained that Al-Nasr Club spoke with the recruitment committee to finance the deal for Barcelona and Brazilian national team star Rafinha.
The newspaper added that Al-Nasr is preparing to make a historic offer in order to settle the contract with the Brazilian winger, especially after Flick agreed to the player’s departure, and the offer may exceed 100 million euros, which will help Barcelona to settle the season’s deal and sign Neco Williams.
The newspaper added that Al-Nasr star Cristiano Ronaldo was the one who asked the Saudi team management to contract with the Brazilian player due to Ronaldo’s conviction in Rafinha’s abilities, which will help add great strength to Al-Nasr’s Saudi attack.
The newspaper concluded: Castro, the team’s coach, places Rafinha as his main target for signing him after a disappointing season for Senegalese star Sadio Mane.
In addition, reports spread that Mane wants to return to the English Premier League through his former club, Southampton, with other offers.
