Iniesta believes that Fabian Ruiz could be an ideal alternative for many players who suffer from injuries or who may leave the club in the near future.
In this context, Iniesta confirmed that Fabian Ruiz will be able to compensate for the absence of young player Marc Bernal, who is suffering from a long-term injury, in addition to providing a performance that matches and perhaps surpasses Ilkay Gundogan, who recently left the club.
Iniesta believes that the Spanish player is far superior to Gundogan, which makes him the most suitable option to strengthen Barcelona’s midfield in the next stage.
The newspaper concluded that Luis Enrique is obsessed with signing Dutch player Frenkie de Jong, so he will not mind if a swap deal is made with Barcelona in exchange for giving up Fabian Ruiz.
