According to information from the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo,” Juventus is eyeing Barcelona striker Ferran Torres for a potential transfer in the next summer Mercato.
Ferran Torres joined Barcelona in January 2022 from Manchester City, but he has not performed at the expected level and is currently experiencing a decline in form, which has led to intense frustration among Barcelona officials due to his unacceptable performance.
The newspaper added that Hansi Flick strongly supports the player’s departure and informed Laporta that Torres’ exit would be a beneficial deal for Barcelona, as the club could utilize the funds to sign another player of a higher caliber.
Ferran Torres is under contract with Barcelona until June 30, 2027, and his market value is estimated at 50 million euros. Torres has played 122 matches for Barcelona across various competitions, scoring 26 goals and providing 15 assists.
