The Saudi Al-Hilal team seeks to conclude a historic deal with Real Madrid in the next summer transfer window.
The Saudi team feels very disappointed with the Brazilian star Neymar, who only played a few matches for the team before an injury kept him off the field for a whole year.
Brazilian Vinicius Junior, Real Madrid’s striker, tops the list of targets for the Saudi League in the summer transfer window of 2025.
The Spanish newspaper “Marca” revealed that Saudi Arabia, specifically Al-Hilal Club, wants Vinicius to be the new star of the Roshan League, especially following the unsuccessful signing of Neymar da Silva by the blue team.
The newspaper indicated that the Saudi League will attempt again to attract Vinicius, whose current value is 200 million euros, according to the Transfer Market website.
The Saudi League plans to reopen negotiations with Vinicius in the summer of 2025, while there is a sense of calm within Real Madrid due to a release clause worth 100 million euros, in addition to the player’s commitment to his contract with the club.
The same source pointed out that the likelihood of Vinicius joining the Saudi League seems remote, as the player is focused on various challenges with Real Madrid this season.
While Al-Hilal Club wishes to include Vinicius in its ranks, especially after the failed Neymar deal, which is expected to see Neymar return to the pitch in early 2025, the remaining time of the current season will be crucial in evaluating his situation and performance to determine whether he will continue with the team or if the contractual relationship will be terminated.
It is noteworthy that the last summer transfer window witnessed a Saudi attempt to sign Vinicius for Al-Ahli Jeddah, but the negotiations did not succeed.
