Onda Cero has revealed the surprising right-back that Ancelotti trusts, and it’s neither Lucas Vazquez nor Militao.

Real Madrid are preparing for the January transfer window with a pressing need to find solutions to a series of injuries that, combined with a lack of signings in the summer, have left Carlo Ancelotti’s squad stagnating.

Onda Cero has no doubts about who could step in to help fans forget about Carvajal.
In the last few hours of the transfer window, Ortego and Onda Cero discussed Real Madrid’s options at right-back, highlighting Ancelotti’s lack of utilization of youth academy players and how it’s not surprising to see a club legend in this role.

Ortego stated, “I think Ancelotti would rather play Valverde at right-back than promote a player from the academy,” suggesting that the team’s young players are currently not in the frame as they seek solutions to strengthen a first-team squad suffering from a lack of options.
The Italian coach is very clear about his concerns regarding relying on Lucas Vazquez in this position, especially in crucial matches, and he may consider the more secure option, which is Fede Valverde.

For his part, the Uruguayan player does not want to change his position, as he believes it would diminish his effectiveness, and he is strongly pressuring Ancelotti to relieve him of this responsibility.
