Barcelona hopes to overcome the next stage, which will significantly determine the course of the Catalan team’s season, both domestically and in Europe.

The German coach is preparing for several crucial confrontations in La Liga, including a match against Sevilla tomorrow and another against Real Madrid in the Bernabéu Clásico, with a decisive encounter against Bayern Munich in the Champions League sandwiched between them.
According to information from the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, Hansi Flick was clear and frank with Deco: there is no place for Vitor Roque in his project with Barcelona while he is coaching.

Although both are working together to build the team of the future, their positions in this case are completely opposite. The Brazilian striker, currently on loan at Real Betis, has not been able to shine as expected, which has influenced Flick’s decision.

The German coach does not beat around the bush when it comes to forming his ideal team. Since taking over, he has shown a clear vision of what he wants and the players he needs to compete at the highest level, and Vitor Roque does not fit into this vision.
Flick believes that the Brazilian lacks the necessary level to contribute to the Blaugrana team, a view he made clear in his conversations with Deco, who seems resigned to accept the reality despite his choice of Roque.

The Brazilian striker’s situation is delicate, and a return to Barcelona in this context seems complicated, especially with Flick’s loss of confidence in the level of the other first-team players. Roque finds himself at a crossroads, aware that if he does not improve his performances between now and the end of the season at Real Betis, it could seriously affect his future in European football.

Flick’s decision not only leaves Roque in a difficult position but also sends a clear message that only those with the required level will play for Barcelona.
The Brazilian faces a tough task in changing these perceptions, which seems unlikely under the German coach. Therefore, in the absence of any unexpected developments, Vitor Roque will have to seek a new destination if he wants to relaunch his career away from Camp Nou.
