Barcelona’s Brazilian international star, Rafinha, is enjoying a historic season under the leadership of German coach Hansi Flick, who has placed his trust in the player, refusing to let him leave and giving him the full opportunity to showcase his abilities.
Rafinha has openly expressed his admiration for Flick’s approach, crediting him as a significant factor in his improved performance this season compared to last, when he played under Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez.
In a recent interview with the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Rafinha conveyed his strong confidence in winning a major title with Barcelona this season.
The Brazilian stated, “We possess all the qualities and capabilities that qualify us to return to the podiums again. The motivation and drive we have are limitless.”
When asked about a player he would like Barcelona to sign in the future, Rafinha mentioned, “We have players with top-level talent and experience, but personally, I want Erling Haaland to join Barcelona in the next transfer window.”
He added, “I spoke with Flick about the tremendous impact Haaland would have on our team. He would ensure we score at least 40 goals every season and make it difficult for all opponents to face Barcelona.”
Regarding Lewandowski, Rafinha remarked, “He has an incredible mentality. Playing alongside him is enjoyable, and we understand each other very well, which has been evident on the pitch this season.”
