Real Madrid secured three important points last night in their battle for the league title, allowing Los Blancos to close the gap with Barcelona.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side triumphed in a very tough match at Balaídos, with the main objective being to secure a win following the international break.
The Real Madrid coach commented after the match: “It was a competitive, difficult, and evenly matched game. We must give ourselves credit for competing well until the end.”

He added, “We could have played better, but the team showed commitment. We lacked balance at the start, and the goal we conceded could have been avoided. We need to be more alert, especially during counter-attacks.”
The victory was bolstered by the outstanding performances of Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Junior, Thibaut Courtois, and Luka Modric, all of whom shone at Balaídos.

However, Fran Garcia did not perform at his best, despite his enthusiasm and determination to prove his worth and earn a starting spot in the team.
In fact, the Real Madrid full-back apologized to Kylian Mbappé after the match for not allowing him the opportunity to advance and bring on more players. He also apologized to Carlo Ancelotti, admitting that he had not been entirely successful in choosing the right moments for his runs.
