Real Madrid moves decisively: PSG star tops the list and a secret agreement for the return of the Argentine talent

Spanish media reports have revealed details of Real Madrid’s transfer plans for the upcoming summer window. The club is preparing for a major overhaul after a season that fell short of fans’ expectations, prompting the management to reshuffle the squad before the start of the new season.

According to the newspaper AS, Real Madrid has identified strengthening the central defense and midfield as top priorities during the summer transfer window, given the need for players capable of restoring balance and strength to the team, especially in big matches.

The newspaper indicated that Vitinha, the Paris Saint-Germain star, is Real Madrid’s primary target to bolster the midfield due to his high technical abilities and exceptional vision in building play. Should that deal fall through, Kees Smitten, the AZ Alkmaar player, has emerged as an alternative option under consideration.

In a related matter, Real Madrid is closely monitoring the situation of the young duo, Indrik and Nico Paz, currently on loan at Olympique Lyonnais and Como respectively, as part of its plan to rebuild the team with promising young talent.

Andrek is currently on loan at Lyon until the end of the season, while Real Madrid retains the option to buy back Nico Paz from Como for just €9 million, a lucrative option both financially and technically.

The newspaper confirmed that Real Madrid has already reached an agreement with Nico Paz for his return to the team starting next season, after the player opted to leave in 2024 in search of regular playing time and to further develop his skills under coach Cesc Fàbregas.

Nico Paz achieved his goals during his time in Serie A, where his impressive performances earned him a place in the Argentine national team and made him a potential candidate for his country’s squad for the upcoming World Cup.

This move reflects Real Madrid’s desire to combine major signings with promising young talents as part of a comprehensive project aimed at restoring the team to its former glory both domestically and in Europe.
