Reports indicate that Hansi Flick has asked sporting director Deco to find a definitive solution for the future of young player Ronnie Bardghji, given his exclusion from the coaching staff’s plans and his likely departure at the end of the current season.
According to the same sources, Bardghji’s continued presence at Barcelona is virtually impossible. The upcoming El Clásico against Real Madrid is expected to be his last chance, should he get playing time, before a final decision is made regarding his future.
The Swedish player, born in 2005, has been unable to secure a regular starting position in his first season with the team, despite possessing promising technical ability. This is due to the intense competition in the attacking line and the presence of prominent players in his position.
Despite showing some positive signs, the coaching staff led by Flick believes this is insufficient, prompting them to consider loaning him to another club within La Liga to gain more experience and regular playing time.
The plan being considered within the club involves loaning the player out with an option to buy, while Barcelona retains a buy-back clause or a percentage of any future transfer fee should he impress outside Camp Nou.
Reports confirm that the player’s future is separate from any other deals, including Marcus Rashford’s situation, as Bardghji’s fate is not tied to the continued presence or departure of any other player within the squad.
Furthermore, press reports indicate that Flick considers El Clásico a crucial test for the player to prove his ability to continue, especially given the absence of some key players, most notably Lamine Yamal. This presents him with a rare opportunity to showcase his potential before a final decision is made regarding his future during the summer transfer window.
